It is worth knowing what happened the last time we had so many Americans ready to give up democracy. 1930’s were only 1 or 2 generations ago. Most of us know it happened but little of where it really came from, where those people went, how much has been recycled today.

Métiers d'Art is the level to aspire to and “artsmanship” is a nifty, if tentative, new way to speak about it.
