This is the coolest science news I've seen in a while.

This discovery has implications for how the Earth developed its oxygen atmosphere, and how we might search for habitable exoplanets.

It saddens me to see such potential wasted.

Trump has nominated Jared Isaacman to head NASA.

While I have a lot of respect for Isaacman, and I think he's the best of all Trump's picks, it's not clear how he will run or change a large, slow bureaucratic organization.

We'll see.

Sorry to be reposting a lot of other people's thoughts, but there's plenty of wisdom here!
We don't learn from history because we haven't experienced those events, and humans don't learn well from being told things, we have to experience them for ourselves. History is the parent telling their kid not to make the same mistakes; humanity is the kid certain that their parent knows nothing.
I’ve been thinking about how history seems to be repeating itself, in its worst ways. Fascism, mysogyny and hate all seem to be on the rise, around the world. I wish we’d learn from history and try not to repeat ourselves.

Hi, everyone. My first post on Bluesky.

To introduce myself, I'm a #PhD candidate in chemical engineering at #UF. My passion is human spaceflight, especially life support systems.

I'm an avid #scuba diver and two-time deaf #AstroAccess weightless flyer.

Am I doing these hashtags right?
