There is much to learn from the past. Read George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four (1949) for a glimpse of our times.
Right Now, most of the American can relate to this message from the 90's.

I spent last Friday hanging out with these gentle giants! Two or three humpback whales and two grey whales plus a 1,000 dolphins!

What a stunning sight! The Pillars of Creation where stars are born from the ashes of star deaths. These structures are increadibly massive. From top to bottom in this image is about 25 light years. The sun to our nearest star, Alpha Centauri, would take up the top 1/5 of the structure by scale!

A collection of pictures I took a year ago on vacation to Egypt. It's a very magical and mystical country with a deep history. Cleopatra was closer in time to the iphone than to the pyramids!!

Yesterday, I attended a glorious concert of Schoenberg's monumental piece, Gurrelieder. Fantastic story too! Full of passion, pathos, mysticism, and transcendence!

This is a collage of my #astrophotography from the past two years. I've seen things people wouldn't believe. Star births and star deaths, planets, moons, galaxies, nebulas, once in 80,000 year comets, supernovas, total solar eclipses, etc. Here is a collection of some of what I saw.

“I Was Once Here” from Three Epochs. 1.) Cave painting of someone's hand dating from 35,000 to 40,000 years ago. 2.) 12th century European homework from a six year old named "Onfim" doodling at school. 3.) Golden Disk that will outlast humanity as it flies on Voyager 1 and 2 spacecraft.

I once stood at the edge of the continental shelf. I was 100 feet under water and the sea floor descended sharply to 2,000 feet deep! It was a very surreal sight. You can only see maybe 50 feet so it was like staring into the abyss you knew was right next to you.
