I was hoping to finish the game before Nina went back home, but the base game just wasn’t fun, so I took some time to rethink things.
All the power outages slowed down progress a lot, but I’m finally feeling good about the direction of the game!

Power was out all week because of a massive storm, so I couldn’t work on the game at all 😮💨.

- Player movement
- Basic enemy behavior
- Collisions and hitboxes
- Level controller + game state manager
- Guns and projectiles
- Simple sprites and animations
With the foundation done, I can start real gameplay and make it look better

Started a new game this week, nothing to show yet, but I realized I work better when I focus on one thing at a time. So instead of juggling art and gamedev I’m going to try switching between the two each week or so.
