The translator’s note is exactly what you need. Eg. ‘The poem as landscape is crucial to Van Dixhoorn: the size of the margins, the choice of font, the colour on the cover […] The poet’s commitment to straight lines. The landscape of the poem informs the form: all is at work to make the poem work.’

We are dismayed by the decision to cancel the exhibition License to Offend - out of fear of offence. Cartoonists do essential work and many of those included in the exhibition are Index contributors. We urge the decision to be reversed:
