“Ok, we’ve just invented healthcare, what should the doctors wear?”

A long white dress

“Sounds great, and the nurses?”

Pajamas

“Alright that’s settled, then, let’s put the patients in a long shirt with their bare ass sticking out”

I dreamt about dog walking. I miss when I did that as a job. It was a wonderful time.

I think it may also be worth mentioning I have a tattoo of a caterpillar on my back. It's to help me remember and reference a philosophy question. But caterpillars are one of my absolute favorite animals. They're out there metamorphosing the world y'all.

On a plus note, I dreamt of a beautiful bush on my property full of green caterpillars. They were the spirits of the dead caterpillars of my property and said to not be sad because they had fulfilled their job and it was good they simply had a chance to be a caterpillar to begin with. I feel better.

My bees are buzzing. R.I.P. two sets of three #caterpillars. We had three #SnowberryClearwings and three #Monarchs that disappeared. It's the great circle of life, I know. But I am also sad we didn't get to see them come full circle. #NativePlants

We recently fogged our home and found a bald faced hornet who had passed in our back porch. Ah! One of the few insects I am truly upset about. #hornet #bugs

How many researchers are using AI to craft lengthy well documented research only to have readers use AI to summarize in simple terms? Huh

The only saving grace of today is the beautiful sunset I can see. I want to spend more time outside. I miss Earth.

I'm a little over a year into medical hospital librarianship. There seems to be really wonderful and important work to be done in this sector, but it's a relatively small one. It doesn't get the same glamor as public libraries.

There are also a lot of implications and concerns I have for our hospital. A lot of questions about proprietary data, health data, privacy violations. There aren't solid answers at the moment, and that is really exciting.

There is a lot that AI is changing in the research and data collection world. I also appreciate how fast talking points and quality of writing now improved with the help of AI.

Today is my birthday. There is a massive government protest and the local native plant sale today. Two very wonderful things.

A weird fun side part of my job is that I ask my pregnant friends and colleagues a lot about where they're giving birth. And when they mention my hospital I saw "Text me! I will be there with flowers and chocolate." Break time with newborns, how cool.

This session, and many others, advocate for being purveyors of AI tools and connectors, if not actual users. Being more about identifying existing tools and connecting them with these AI tools. Either via education, support, or access. #CILdc

Ensure your use of AI is improving existing services. Focus on improving your efficiency as opposed to embracing an entirely new field of work that AI is involved in. #CILdc

"Public health data, we trusted it. We didn't think someone would go in and delete parts of it because they do not like the population." I.e. our datasets within the federal government is not unreliable if available at all. #CILdc

Question from audience: Are the data sets from the government still valid? Speaker says he knows some of not down, has had elements of it deleted or altered. Cross check and validate is the solution #CILdc
