The overwhelming bulk of the Palestinian people support Hamas. They allowed Hamas to turn their schools and hospitals into military targets by storing ammunition in them and building tunnels beneath them. Many actively participated and celebrated Oct. 7th.

Third parties are viable. But too many people, currently, believe that they are "throw away votes". That's a lie that's pushed by the right and left to keep the duopoly in place.

The two party polarization of this country is literally destroying it. It's why the Founding Fathers were against political parties. They feared they would tear the nation apart. As it's currently doing. People identify too much as a party and not as an American.

They were granted statehood after the Holocaust, to give Jews, a historically persecuted people, a safe place to exist. Israel is home to many Arabs and other cultures and supports freedom. Unlike radical islamic beliefs. The Hamas Charter, however, calls for the actual genocide of Jews.

You are aware that Palestine, as discussed in the article, was under British rule, yes? It was British Palestine. Beyond that, Jews can be traced to Israel both in historical text and through geology. They also had to make a commitment to democracy to be granted statehood initially.

I don't sympathize with people who support terrorism. Israel has accepted ceasefire deals, Hamas rejected them. I'd also encourage you to look at the number of Palestinians in the world, the number who have died, and do the math. It's not genocide.

There's this crazy thing where people can still have a conversation even if they don't agree on every point. You should try it. As far as being "some people", I educate myself from all perspectives before making my decisions. You should try it too.
