There is a heavy madness in my heart,
yearning for a love that doesn't hurt
and softer days I never had.

There is a deep sorrow clinging to my soul,
a longing I'll forever know.

I can't understand why your love is so wrong,
why it hurts to leave, yet so much more to stay.
