Does anyone else notice how often Sam Altman says “whatever”? The one thing that bugs me about the current crop of dudes trying to take over the world—aside from the whole trying to take over the world part—is that they’re often so blasé about it. Like, where’s the fire? Show you care.

I think all this talk about reversing the ratio of PMs to Devs, because Product is now the “bottleneck,” is quietly highlighting the insane amount of work expected from Product, which has probably led to our discipline’s extraordinarily high burnout rate.
