Many naively revenge voted for Biden/Harris for policy differences. They carry huge burden for putting our democracy on life support.
The reality is that 2024 was a fundamental test of the moral character of the nation and we failed spectacularly. We’re living with the consequences now. Maybe we improve. I hope so.

Problem is that average person has no respite. ICE shows up, game over. Police won’t intervene, state/local politicians can’t do anything. Republicans know it and are supporting the practice.

I remember being a kid and being told to go back to Africa. And that was before Trump. Kids right now have it so much worse. The cruelty is louder, more public, more sanctioned.
