I was gifted and incredible piece of McCormick field history this weekend. This numbered print (825/1500) was a promotional giveaway in 1989. It has an incredible photo of the field, showing a minimal outfield fence. In center field is Ty Cobb, and out in the left field are wooden stands.

Helene really left it's mark. Trees down will go to good use though! Wood stove heating is the best! It'll take time to season; this'll be a damn fine pile by next winter, so I donned my workin hat⚾️ I don't care about the sweat/mud stains, rips, and damage. Ya gotta have ONE to do the hard work in!🪵
