I've been spending more time in procreate lately trying to draw stuff. It's fun to see progress.
I gotta stop making twenty different color versions of things though. 😂 I just can't decide which ones like the best.

This is as far as I'm going to get with this one for now. I had planned to make a full scene out of this but it's my first time playing with textures and I'm still figuring out how to make it do what I want it to do. I'll come back to it in the future when I've had a bit more practice.

Still a work in progress but I wanted to see if I could make a background for a VN I've been working on. So far, so good... This is my first render without a tutorial too. 🎉

From a tutorial on gamedev.tv. I wasn't able to get the background image to work properly, but I'll have another go at that some other time.

Finished. Honestly, not my favorite tutorial (I just don't like dinosaurs or the low poly style in general) but good practice and not a terrible end result.

Blender progress over the past week. I still have the rest of this tutorial to finish but I'm happy with the progress so far. This is a lot easier than I thought it would be when I first started.

More Blender learning. I can already tell that lighting is going to take me a while to get the hang of (composition too but that's always been a weak spot for me).

Apparently we are going to play Bug Hunt today and they absolutely must be drawn by hand. Print outs and plastic toys are cheating (so says my tiny dictator).
