So, if anybody was still wondering, this shows us that repugnantans are not only mean, but will go out of their way to BE mean. Who wants this running the country?

the venal blight is a con artist, it’s entire life a series of bluffs that the deplorable fall for and accept. It’s bitten off way too much this time. Why do we all have to pay?

I had long since decided not to atribute human qualities to it. Yet I thought it needed a name. Not a name one would give a human or from which one could infer gender. Not one worthy of Capitalization.

venal blight

I'm using it. It feels better.

On the other hand, after several years of acute traumatic stress we'll be able to go back to post-traumatic stress. So there's that.

Once upon a time I dreamed that over the course of the next 4 years and beyond don turdo would drop out of the news cycle altogether. I even dared think, "No matter what else happens, if we get to that point, it'll be great." Oddly I still dream of that.

Henceforth "Tesla Motors" is renamed "Muskrat Corporation". Products rebranded as "maga muskrats". Owners and drivers are "muskraturds".

from Wikipedia: Muskrats are "rats" because they're rodents with adaptable lifestyle and omnivorous diet. Declining populations in Canada, USA and Mexico.

mandate (oxford dict.): n. authority to carry out policy, course of action, given by electorate to victor candidate or party in election. Narrow margin of victory = less mandate. Considered decisive, not slight or nebulous. Another thing certain: the one becoming POTUS 1-25-2025 has no mandate.

FDR and JFK were both wealthy, educated blue bloods. Yet both connected well to the working class and made them feel included. There was unity. WTF happened to us to lose that?
November 25, 2024 at 11:15 PM
For goodness sake, court the working class! That's where all the votes are. Didn't we used to know that? Celebrity endorsements don't work. Popular, yes. Effective, no.

Democrats show inability to get elected proportional to unwillingness to ensure voters are familiar with their accomplishments. Don't claim your accomplishments, your opponents will, then get themselves elected instead. If you can't get the media to discuss your actual accomplishments WT-actual-F?

@hcrichardson.bsky.social You taught someone bored by too many dull history classes about what is actually relevant to my life. Causes and effects resolved. Kindly, not curmudgeonly. Thank you.

The policy choices and the priorities of the second Trump administration will have profound effects on animals. In general, experts said, the administration put the interests of industry over those of animals. That pattern is expected to continue.
