just realized that ever since i finished outer wilds i have had a sharp increase in dreams where i go into space and they are very obviously shaped by how that game handles space travel

About halfway through watching Revolutionary Girl Utena and the main take away so far is that its crazy that I’ve never seen it mentioned that a third of the show is the most ridiculous, tonally-contrasting gag episodes possible

My favorite bit about paranormasight “seven mysteries of honjo” is that there’s actually nine mysteries and in universe they’re like “yeah 7 is just the number that stuck but some people will say there’s as many as 15 mysteries”

paranormasight but more tightly focused around a single legend and hopefully with a better considered ending is the groundwork for goty. only two weeks away!

When they announced directors cut would have new fully animated cutscenes I thought for sure it meant them redoing the weird static shot cutscenes but lol those are unchanged

finished reading roadside picnic last night and there was an afterword from the author about how the book didn’t get published in the 70s not because of any top-down regime pressure, but the publishing house tastemakers themselves believing all art should be sanded down. nothing ever changes huh

i still don't see the vision but eh whatever it was pretty cute
watching eva rebuild 3.0+1.0 tomorrow. having mostly found the first three movies a waste of time with not a lot of interesting ideas while barely giving the cool stuff that’s there room to breathe, i hope a 9 year gap and 2 1/2 hours of runtime finally lets me see the vision
