Went back to Stygian: Outer Gods after not having played it since release. The new locations are nice, especially the mansion.
I still wish you could respec, though. Ignoring Lockpicking was clearly a mistake on my part; the game is chock-full of locked stuff, lol.

Went back to Stygian: Outer Gods after not having played it since release. The new locations are nice, especially the mansion.
I still wish you could respec, though. Ignoring Lockpicking was clearly a mistake on my part; the game is chock-full of locked stuff, lol.

SOMA is a solid candidate here, especially since setting the game inside a facility deep underwater does an excellent job of making the player feel hopelessly cut off from anything resembling civilization.
SIGNALIS fits the bill as well, featuring a setting that is both lonely and oppressive.
