I feel like so many people have been conditioned to just not have hard conversations. Talking about current events is uncomfortable and inconvenient so people don't.
Of course these same people will go "how did this happen?" As they lose their jobs, food stability, and rights.

TBH I like writing code lol.
Like I actually enjoy it. I relax at night by just tinkering. I'm not really finishing anything or solving problems I just like telling computers what to do 😂

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.
Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.
Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

I thought about this when LLMs hit the public consciousness. I knew right then and there that "AI" was a dead word. We used to be able to use it generically to refer to LLMs, neural networks, NPC logic, ocr etc. No more, those days are gone.

I ran into this issue in Alsa haha. There's a lot of low level code documented like that. Very "if you know you know and if you don't you won't"

Well to start with unless you use a secondary tool like hatch, pip is incapable of dependency graph resolution. It cannot resolve two constraints against one another for one package included by two other dependencies (very common)
