It is apparently the destiny of every trans girl to one day become the "I can't believe she's worried she doesn't look good" girl to someone.
Since this apparently requires explanation last night I was wearing a black dress. We also have a guitar lying around the house. My mother brushed past me while doing something and saw "a black thing with curves" out of the corner of her eye and thought I was a guitar that she almost knocked over.
New contender for strangest compliment(?) I have ever received, my mom mistook me for a guitar last night.

On vacation with family, and have been reminded that my 90+ year old grandfather, upon being told of my transition, responded "human civilization has only been around 5-6 thousand years, so it makes sense that our understanding of gender is still changing"

Spending thanksgiving (and the last few days) at home sick has definitely sucked, but I am profoundly grateful to have a life where I feel this way so rarely. I am surrounded by wonderful people who I love spending time with and do so constantly. Extremely thankful for the amazing people in my life.

Heading home after a wonderful PAX, spent my last day playing riftbound and living out my shrine dreams in TLA box team sealed (my deck had 10 shrines and I had all 5 in play more often than my opponents would have liked)

Been a busy few days traveling, but I spent the last weekend playing at the World Series of Board Games. The event was an absolute blast, and I won the Phoenix Belt (won the most side/rebound events). Looking forward to going back next year!
