Cleaning, inking and printing this weekends kitchen lithography print, when I finally got to one that worked! Good job the failed plates can be cleaned and recycled 😂

Kitchen lithography layers 1 and 2. Layers 3 and 4 in my head waiting to be realised…

The key linocut block carved for Snow Moon. Time to transfer it to the other blocks and get them carved. The primroses were replaced with gorse, it felt more appropriate, the more I worked on this the more it made me think of Exmoor, the Brendan Hills and the Quantocks.

The next full moon linocut print for the snow moon is in the planning stages. Im still not completely convinced I know what’s happening but will see where it goes…

Sitting in a toasty warm bed with the dog on my lap going through photos looking for something to post. This lithino linocut combo was based on a summer scene from Dartmoor this year. Trying to imagine what it would be like there right now in Storm Bert, exciting I reckon but not so warm…

Not got snow where you are? We haven’t either. Here’s a bit of snowy kitchen lithography (printing with tin foil and cola) so you can feel the cold and imagine the snow 🥶😁

I never get tired of printing this one, although I am looking forward to working on some new prints and not just printing tote bags and sketchbooks!
