We had driven 2 hrs to visit a Buck-ees (In an electric car). It was an experience 😆 I never knew a gas station could be all that. We ended up eating our food by a river. I took a nap, surrounded by ducks, and getting licked by small native bees.

I’ve been quiet on social media. I’m watching what’s happening in my country with grief & fear.
It’s overwhelming honestly, & it’s getting less safe to be so public. My entire family is being affected by this administration, all of our jobs are in jeopardy.

I have a story about Yosemite fog. One time my partner & I drove through the night & arrived at Yosemite around 5 am. We parked the car on the outlook past the tunnel & I could see a huge fog rolling over half dome, sliding in the valley with snake like fingers. Cont 👇

I wanted to make more but the 4 of these took a crazy amount of hrs to make. I'm still so proud of them and sent them to love ones with handmade cards this year. Maybe they'll be my new tradition, homemade felt ornaments and such.

Partially from joining a climate crew, part getting really sick, part addressing a health issue that had contributed to weight gain. Which finally got a diagnosis after 10 yrs! Also, plus size me hiked mountains frequently

One of my favorite plants communities exists on a hillside in a California Mointain town. There is diversity in trees, shrubs, birds, & wildlife. It's actually not common to see in the US because of overdevelopment & invasive plants. This forest feels like diverse neighbors thriving & it's beautiful

After several hours, my family & I made a bunch of home made silly little cookies. They look better from a distance 😆 They taste good tho! Will be sharing with neighbors & coworkers cuz we don't need all this for ourselves.
