Finished watching Falling Down, fascinating to see after all I've heard about it. The little setups that pay off after you've forgotten about them are great, and I think it does a great job of both escalation, and each incident showing that there is an active choice to be made.

Finished watching G-Saviour, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked about it overall. The main drawback is the dated CGI, but even then, it has a charming corniness, like a Saturday morning cartoon.

Finished watching Frankenstein (2025). Very well done movie, only a few spots felt elongated or a bit on the nose to me, but Guillermo Del Toro most certainly knows how to make a good movie.

I can finally say definitively after having watched with my own eyes: people who not just dislike, but truly hate either Gundam SEED or Unicorn with some kind of burning passion are wrong. You should be directing that towards AGE instead

Finished watching Gundam SEED Freedom, it did a lot to expand on both series, not quite as well as EW, but aside from a few smaller parts that felt bit hand-wavy or underexplored, it was mostly a really good time, especially in the back half.

Finished watching Gundam: Requiem for Vengance. I was really impressed by how good the mobile suits and vehicles looked, though the people were sometimes a bit off. I thought it had a really good core, though being so short felt like it didn't have time to set up a lot of things. Still a good watch!

Finished watching Gundam SEED Destiny. I thought it did a good job of expanding on the first series for almost every character. It has a lot of themes to consider, and does an especially good job of showing complex situations where you can understand each side, to further etch in tragedy of war.

Finished watching Speed Racer, and I thought it did such a great job of balancing good cation, story, and innovation on the anime, it would be hard not to enjoy it. A movie that really leaves it all out on the track, and with the exception of a few small spots, ages beautifully.
