The only Black Friday shopping I did was for a Yuletide Kitten from the Webkinz estore. I shared pictures of her earlier. I think I did very well in controlling my limited spending for the end of the year. Tomorrow is 1st December and a new POTM, this time the Sugarplum Cheeky Monkey, which is cute!

Snow on the ground, but in the streets it's mostly clear. I went out for coffee. I left the boy at home so I could drive without distractions. Not that he causes any at any point. I just don't need him to start breathing heavily and licking my ears. He did that once, the silly boy. No thanks, pal! 🐕

Michigan got pounded with snow pretty much all afternoon and into the evening. It snowed all the way to and from the Fred Meijer Gardens. The roads were pretty slick on the homeward journey, but somehow we made it back! All's well and we can relax. That journey, epic as it was, is done. 🦃

We're finally home safe after a fun time at the Fred Meijer Gardens. The laser light show was really neat. The sculptures looked amazing surrounded by brilliant colours and falling snow. The way the snow hit the lights, it looked like a shaft of TV static. Everyone had a brilliant time, I'd say. 🌙

Getting ready to go to the Fred Meijer Gardens in about an hour. It'll take maybe 3 hours to get there, and it'll be pretty cold today, so I'm making sure to dress warm for outside walking! This will be the other part of my birthday gift. I didn't want typical presents this year, just something fun.
