So I got Not In Love off my holds list. And by the time I was finished with it, Stuck with You became available. Now that I’ve finished it, Check Mate comes through with a lucky skip the line. I did not plan to be Ali obsessed this week but here we are.

I fretted over something for work all evening and night long. Now in the light of a new day, not only was I not to blame but I handled the situation better than I could comprehend last night and I realize I never needed to be stressing over it in the first place.

I really dislike the “what’s wrong with this person” bookshelf judgment trend.
They read. Can the person taking the photo and asking the question say the same? I’d guess no, otherwise they could make their own judgements of the bookshelves if they feel so inclined to be a judgmental prick.

So I really enjoyed this YA fantasy & am kinda salivating for the second book (no date announced yet 🫠)
My only complaint is the multi pov. The chapters are short and fast paced so the multi pov is a detriment to the overall but even with that it’s good.
