I have to say - @armchairhistorian.bsky.social's Master of Command is a masterclass on getting UX almost entirely right.
Understanding natural player workflow the way MoC does is extremely rare in a genre as complex as strategy!

Well done!

In the chaos of 1945 China was split between Chiang Kai-Shek’s Nationalists and Mao Zedong’s Communists. What if U.S. aid saved the KMT, or Mao’s offensives collapsed? Could the ROC have held China, or was CCP victory inevitable?

‘Operation Citadel’ was intended to eliminate the Red Army at Kursk and prevent the Soviet army from launching any offensives for the rest of 1943. As many as 6,000 tanks, 4,000 aircraft and 2 million men were involved in the battle, though numbers vary.

The Second Boer War was the longest, most expensive, and bloodiest conflict for Britain between 1815 and 1914. The war stemmed from long-standing tensions and disputes over territory, resources (particularly gold), and political control in southern Africa.

There are many weapons and items you can equip in Master of Command. Each gun has its own stats and can be fitted to any infantry or cavalry regiment. There's also a chance you can find "artisan" or "refined" versions of each weapon which are more reliable and accurate.

Cossacks are one of Russia's 3 forces you can lead in Master of Command. Their bonus, "Steppe Raiders," lets them raid twice as quickly as other armies meaning they acquire thalers (gold) and provisions (food) very effectively. The downside is they lose 5 thalers every day they aren't raiding.
