Hofstadter’s Law: it always takes longer than you think, even when you take into account Hofstadter’s Law.
I have so many things and tools and gizmos and programs that are 80% done after just a couple of days - the main structure is there and working, it’s just either not very pretty or fails extremely ungracefully on some edge-case. Annoyingly that last 20% takes so much longer than you think!

Working on something fun: completely automating project setup in my firm. ACC project from template, on-prem file share folder structure, project correspondence email, all tied together and validated with Power Automate and APS. Not just about time-saving, but also standardisation and accuracy.
