I’m in Charlotte North Carolina for work. Got up early to watch the game. I believe I would be less disappointed if we had lost 1 nil, versus getting tied up at the death. Did admire the fight though. Love seeing Richy and Tel bag goals. Nice little FU to the Hate Brigade. #COYS

Lots of chatter about incoming investment. A point of pride being a Spurs fan is our team hasn’t been tainted by petro state money. I believe that Levy’s exit is clearing the way. I hope I’m wrong. #COYS

Question for my UK friends. Do your ice cream shops offer free samples? Went to top-rates Novel Ice Cream in Mesa. 50 people in line, sweating their arses off in 100 degree weather. People are asking for samples. It’s not a friggin winery, there is no bad choice when it comes to ice cream.

Other than the late goals and penalty shoot out, there are a lot of positives to take away from the game.
We didn’t get blown out.
We looked solid at the back.
Frank was crafty with his tactics.
Scored off set pieces.
Long throw ins look promising.
Kudos is a beast.
What else did I miss?

I got dragged into a work Zoom at the start of penalties. Fortunately my coworker is a huge football fan and I told her what was going on. She told me to go camera off. I went camera on after the pens. Tried not to look gutted. #COYS

It’s been a rough week, my 91 year old step dad passed. My daughter broke up with her boyfriend after 14 years, and Sonny signed for LAFC. All traumatic in different ways. It pains me every time I see a social post from LAFC with Sonny. Happy for him, but I wasn’t prepared to share him #COYS
