ai coding agents aren't bad. I think it's really the only thing that ai is useful for. but also my standard cycle is:

* long detaild prompt
* wait.....
* response
* don't read the response say "I don't think that's right can you check it"
* wait....
* review that it's usually not bad.

CBP laser blasting the balloons at your birthday party could really be the sort of origin story material the hero of the next age needs.

The number of rank and file workers in tech who unironically insist that the company have a more radical AI plan to execute on is really disturbing.

Also suggesting that the company focus on improving products and creating new products that people pay for shouldn’t get you yelled at.

"I saw my father's plan, and it was just better".

That scene just keeps taking on more weight in my head. Because in the real world Kendall wins. over and over and over. That's why succession was so uplifting.

Accurate, there is a moat between me and the wheel of time community that took years to complete. It’s on my linked in as a top accomplishment.

Maybe they should try a different quarterback
February 9, 2026 at 2:52 AM
Truest thing in an ai commercial was the guy using it to add value and then asking for a raise and having everyone say no simultaneously
February 9, 2026 at 1:42 AM
I knew all the people in the Dunkin’ commercial and got the jokes. That ad was a total failure for that very reason. It’s also the best commercial

Toilet commercial stirring up all the trauma. Scheduling call with the therapist

Maybe the ai commercials will do for ai what the crypto and pets.com ads did for them.

zeroed out all of my giftcards onto my amazon gift card balance. Could not use the last 1.64 on one but oh well. I've also cleaned up all of my payment methods in 1password and amazon now.

This is the most productive I have ever been. Now to buy something frivolous!

The “pieces of flair” conversation in Office Space is absolutely devastating now. And more so every year.

For every time someone says we need to study our industry to understand it better and see where we can improve. A pack of idiots says “I’ll get promoted if I make that specific number change”. And the fools who just want promotions and not to improve are legion. And we all suffer for it.

Gaimans PR firm thinking with everything going on now is the time to launch the redemption tour.

The rest of the world: Nah fuck that.
