Just got an email saying that the county is live in not only does not offer emergency shelter (the place i can go is private with only 40 beds), but that the wait list for subsidized housing is 5-8 years long.

May have to start putting feelers out for another place to live in the new year. Situation here is becoming increasingly untenable and there isn't much I can do to alter its course.
