Chronically online, history obsessed cat herder with a houseplant problem. Been to a museum lately?

This map is now over ten years old and I intend to keep adding to until I run out of places or I break Google Maps. Let me know if I’m missing a cool thing in your area: www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/v...

For my own mental health, I’ve blocked all posts with Trump mentioned. The timeline is now a lovely palette cleanser.

It’s getting colder and there is a vague hope that hanging curtains across the bifolds will stop the cat from screaming to go outside when we’re in the kitchen.

I went on a mental health walk and there was a wild rabbit, so I think I’m now cured.

Been seeing a surprising amount of kids on this holiday, though to be fair a lot are toddlers so wouldn’t be in school anyway. We’ve made a bit of a game coming up with boring adult reasons why any of them burst into tears.

Even accounting for flattering angles, the difference Mounjaro has made is visible. 29 kg down!

It’s moving day today, and I’m currently keeping a cat from having a nervous breakdown by sitting with her in the bathroom as Dr B and the movers empty the house.

Cat people - how did you move with your kitties? With the chance of having to potentially wait hours, just popping her in her travel box seems harsh.

So, how’s the ladybird plague in other parts of the country? We aren’t at biblical levels like the seaside, but there are certainly way more than usual.

Wasn’t expecting to have to save a MASSIVE dragonfly from a cat walloping this morning. It’s as big as her face!
