INR 2.18, not corrected by Vit K

Dengue Associate Acute Liver Failure

Lactulose & NAC were given together with multidisciplinary care, leading to recovery and discharge.

The ER calls referring a 1 year old male with painless hematochezia
Previously well
Unremarkable PE
CBC does not show anemia

Next steps?
A. Abdominal xray
B. Abdominal ultrasound
C. Radionuclide imaging
D. Colonoscopy

A previously well adolescent came in for LGIB not associated with abdominal pain, resulting in severe anemia needing blood transfusion.

Rectal exam: soft non tender mass at the 12 o'clock position

CT scan: bowel within bowel configuration
