One of the biggest challenges to developing residential units for sale is the laws of repose & the cottage industry of attorneys fishing for frivolous lawsuits. It prevents developers & architects from building for sale units. The risks are too high.
Time for reform.

There is a big difference between Democratic moderates & centrists.
Centrists view themselves as walking the line & voting for what they believe their constituents want without greatly pissing off the other side.
Moderates want to make incremental progress toward a better society.

My great grandparents fled Germany to avoid the Kaiser as it was told to me. This was pre-WWI. There were already signs of persecution happening before the Nazis. The rise of hate started long before WWII. They came to the US for a peaceful life. They would be disappointed in what is happening.

The people who think Chicago is a lawless hellhole have A. Never lived there. B. Never visited there. C. ARE LYING. I love Chicago, Nicole generally hates crowds and Cities and SHE loves going to Chicago, my kids adore Chicago. Diversity, Art, Sports, the 'beat' of the city when you walk around
I mean, we’re in Lincoln Park, one of the whitest/most gentrified/affluent parts of the city, but it’s just gorgeous today. That there are people who hate the wonder and diversity of this place…I feel anger, of course, but sadness for them as well, that they don’t appreciate it.
