Thoughts of an Archery Mom:

With all this snow, my mind turns to the Outdoor Archery Season:

☀️ Sunny days
🚗 Road trips
🏹 Chatting with other Parents
📍 Tent, chairs & my trusty wagon
🍎 And, a “snacklebox” arbitrarily able to feed:
8 Archers
5 Spectators
and, 1 wandering judge

If you have the Classic on your Bucket List, consider it for 2027. Accomodation blocks are already open.

Heading to Lancaster this week?

1. Prep for cold weather. Bring extra layers.

2. If renting a car:
A) Request winter tires. Note: it doesn’t always happen. It is an extra $10-$40/day.

B) Bring your own snowbrush. The snowbrushes rental companies provide often look like a very old toothbrush. 🪥

Exciting news! I finally got Reece, my Archer, on the podcast to talk about something most parents (including me) don’t think about when their Archer starts: SHOES.

After 10+ years and 12-15 pairs tried, he’s got thoughts.
