I would argue that “integrity” is the one thing MLS has never had and needs to fix asap. As a single entity league, MLS needs to be very carefully how they exercise that authority. But from day one they’ve put their thumb on the scale for certain markets. Even hardcore fans don’t respect the league
He’s getting a cut of the revenue from Apple TV. Can you imagine MLS offering that deal to help any other team in the league sign a player? Youre right tho, technically no roster rules are broken but the integrity of the league is thrown in the trash. Can MLS afford that perception?
