I've been playing Football Manager games for a lot of years. While FM26 is the start of a new era, it won't be remembered as one of the best entries.
"Football Manager 26 is the first step of a new era, and as we're seeing with some of the biggest clubs in the country, any new era comes with the challenge of rebuilding and both setting and meeting expectations." says @aransuddi.bsky.social in his review.

Football Manager 26 Review | TheSixthAxis
Football Manager 26 kicks off a bold new era for this series, but is it enjoying a new manager bump? Or has the season already gone off the rails?

This is grim. There just aren't enough of us writing about games, and even fewer who will take the time to bring attention to smaller games. It isn't good for the industry.

I'm now replaying Binary Domain and it has some great ideas around AI, though some of the script hasn't aged well.

I still hold onto a little hope that RGG Studio will make a sequel.

That's Dark Void done. It had some fun ideas that could have been executed better. Story was all over the place though. Next up, I'm revisiting Spec Ops: The Line.

My view is that this government knows exactly what it is doing and believes in some of Reform's messaging. I bet there is no single advisor to the PM or Home Secretary from a minority background to give context to what the flag represents to some of us.
