Meet Grumpy Gus. Chronically unimpressed, hard to please, dramatic. So imagine my surprise when I try a new spot in the house and he's suddenly blooming a flower! I have had him for YEARS, no flower. Sometimes it’s not about trying harder, but finding the right environment so we can finally bloom.

Happy Black History Month! This month is an opportunity to celebrate Black leaders, artists, scholars, organizers, and everyday changemakers. We must continue doing the work of building a more just and inclusive world. Shout out to the Obamas- two people not in the Epstein files. #blackhistorymonth

At times like this, silence and “business as usual” can become part of the harm. Nonviolent protests help communities state, "This is not okay!" Jan 30 is being named a national day of action- Step back from work, school, and shopping as a way to denounce ICE/ DHS and the harm it's caused.

This is progress, but we are not letting up.

Demand your Senators vote no on a bill that would keep funding ICE while doing nothing to keep us safe from these out of control federal agents. Take action at aclu.org/stop_ice_attacks-

While preparing to horse ride, I caught this rainbow shine through the darkest of skies as it started to rain. Don't let hard things cancel out hope. Beauty can still exist in the midst of pain. Sometimes the rainbow doesn’t appear after the storm, but shines right in the middle of it for us. 🌈

How do you interact with your AI? Is it similar or different to how you treat people? I asked my ChatGPT to "create an image based on how I treat you?" It gave back this, which is a perfect reflection of how I feel about it. It even picked up on my coffee, plants, and therapist-cardigan. 🤣

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter." Martin Luther King Jr.

These words were a call to action that apply today. Protecting our rights, engaging, and caring for one another is how we honor his legacy. 💙💙💙

In times of injustice, rage is not pathology. It is information and signals what is not okay. Courage helps us translate that information into action, care, and connection. Don't choose one or the other when both are needed to act mindfully. #injustice #ice #democracy #mentalhealth

Many of us are feeling the strain of this moment- politically, socially, emotionally. Wellbeing comes from balance. Stay informed without becoming overwhelmed, take action without carrying everything alone, practice self-care without disengaging, and stay connected instead of isolating. 💙💙💙

It's the Year of the Horse! Learning to ride later in life taught me it's never too late to move toward what calls you. Year of the horse feels like an invitation to choose courage, momentum, and freedom- one step at a time. 🐎

Happy New Year! Hopefully you had a wonderful holiday season. For 2026, goals don’t have to be about doing more.
They can be about aligning, simplifying, and choosing what actually matters to you. Spend time thinking about what you want this year and set intentions that honor both heart and mind. 💙

I've only recently developed a green thumb. This plant in my office started blooming this week when the weather has been coldest. It's a lovely reminder that growth isn't always predictable and often shows up when conditions feel hardest. Sometimes we bloom in the coldest of seasons. 🌷❄️💙

Unacknowledged emotions will never just go away. They leak out at unexpected times in unhealthy ways, they cause health problems, they block out the good emotions. Try to love yourself enough to listen to your emotions- they are there to help even when they feel like they are hurting.
