We are back with another #FawningFriday, and we are celebrating a bit of a local legend onsite, Jerry!

Jerry has been with ARA for close to 13 years! He brings as much guidance, joy, and compassion to work on a daily as he does coffee – it’s a lot!

An op-ed from Paul Racher about the proposed Bill 5. The comment period is still open! www.thespec.com/opinion/cont...

We’ve destroyed so much Indigenous legacy already. How much more is it OK to take?
The system proposed by Bill 5 will create a situation in which settler resting places will be protected better than Indigenous ones.

ARA is on Bluesky! For our first post, we are sharing an opinion piece from the Hamilton Spectator written by our Principal Paul Racher. Paul explores the idea of trade past and present, a topic that is commanding our attention these days.

We outsourced many of our material needs and wants to global powers. This has happened here before
Within a generation or two after the arrival of Europeans, many long-established Indigenous industries virtually disappeared.
