Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a day dedicated to the children who never came home from Canada’s residential schools, recognizing the survivors & their families. It’s a moment to reflect on the painful legacy of the residential school system and its lasting impacts.

On this day, we honour the memory of the 49 lives tragically cut short and the 53 individuals wounded in the devastating attack that took place at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida, on June 12th, 2016.

The victims had simply gathered to relax and enjoy the music..you just wanted to dance! 🕯️🌹
