Fenland preparing for winter. Whorled Water-milfoil (Myriophyllum verticillatum) forming dense, dark-green turions which will keep the plant safe in the cold.

Made two new ecojars for our intro bio lab coordinators. The jars have snails, zooplankton, phytoplankton, and aquatic plants. These are easy to make and maintain if you have access to a pond to replenish the jars with water. I have a jar still going strong from summer 2020. #aquaticplants
