The funniest thing about being Mexican-American is the fact that depending on which state/region you're from, we all thought we were completely different from each other.

I asked someone out for the first time since 2024, and like clockwork, I got the usual response of 'no'.
At this point, I'm not actually upset, you can't miss something you've never had.
I've realized, getting rejected as much as I have, it's definitely a me problem.
It's bizarrely comforting.
