I love talking to my friends about their OCs, and I will be their OCs biggest hype man.

If I am familiar with someone's character you're unfamiliar with, it's not some secret insider information that you're not privy to.

I simply asked about their OCs and listened.

I find I care too much about people's joy and fun to be mad about being unfamiliar with whatever topic brings them mirth.

I simply ask them about it if I want to take part, because it often excites them to tell someone else about whatever moves them.
