Just got a text from Verizon because apparently I've had the same account with them for 20 years now. I feel so old. Anyway, I get a free shutterfly photo book so I guess I'll make one of the dogs for Jade. They'll love that.

It’s our 5 year anniversary and we went to eat a late lunch at this Mexican place we used to go to a lot when we first started dating. So fun and nostalgic. I am pretty sure I have a queso baby in my stomach now though.

Side-eying some jobs posted at the baseball hall of fame in cooperstown that I am def. qualified for. It's an hour commute from where we will be, but damn...talk about dream job.

My mom continues to not understand why we're moving. She thinks "we should all be able to just get along" and thinks I'm the one that's "not getting along" when the "family" I'm not getting along with literally tell me to my face they don't want me or my partner around their children.

Other than my dog being sick, we've had nothing but good things happening the last week or so. And I don't know if my first true happiness in months that I'm feeling today is from all of that or if the Lexapro is finally working.

Jax gets to come home from the vet today. He was seizure free off the IV all night. She said he's looking sad which makes me want to run and get him now but I need to work until after lunch today. Gonna be thinking about that goober all morning now.

The vet is going to keep Jax one more night so they can reduce his IV drip slowly. Y’all pray for my dog and for my wallet. He’s at least stopped seizing for about 12 hours now. They did tell me he vomited a whole sock which we found out he ate while confused after a seizure. 🤦🏻♀️

At ER with Jax. It’s def not his first rodeo but this seizure activity over the last few days is very unusual for him and pretty concerning. Before this he’d cluster but only ever coming out of sleep. He’s just been having them anytime and with increasing frequency with no response to any meds.

Anyone else on here have an epileptic pet? We have been on this journey with our youngest pup for about 3 years now and he's just had his worst few days ever. Probably going to have to hospitalize him if he has one more seizure. It's so hard. No meds seem to be working, even the emergency ones.

Our offer was accepted on the cottage in Schenectady. I guess I'm gonna be an upstate New Yorker. We may wait until after winter to actually move up there since the place needs a little TLC, but it's crazy this is all happening so fast.

Well, we put in an offer on a small cottage in Schenectady. I did not expect to be doing things this fast but my FIL was able to go look at the place and said it's a pretty beautiful property in a ridiculously good location.
