Yesterday there was a Lords Chamber debate on the government's plans to stop using hotels to house asylum seekers. Several members of the APPG on Migration spoke at the debate. 🧵

Yesterday we held a briefing and discussion on the Employment Rights Bill and its impact on migrant workers and victims of modern slavery. The briefing enabled parliamentarians to hear from experts in the migration, employment and modern slavery sectors.

The APPG on Migration has been reconstituted.

The group’s purpose is to support the emergence of mainstream, progressive policy debate on migration. We aim to provide a discussion forum for parliamentarians and act as a source of well-evidenced and independent information on key migration issues.
