Unironically yes
we wouldn't need "fast travel" if our game studios invested in accessible and affordable public transport infrastructure. skyrim should have a tram network. assassin's creed should have several regular bus routes. give ghost of tsushima a metro

No longer struggling with this, Moyes is magic
Struggling to have coherent thoughts on Dyche being sacked. He probably had to go, but he’s clearly done a lot for us during his time here and the unknown is scary

Obsessing over the posters in the Lake House in Alan Wake 2. Had me scanning the walls of every room I entered

Can’t remember ever being this attached to a manager before, truly one of a kind. They better have one hell of a replacement lined up
We are incredibly grateful for the last 6 years with you. Thank you for everything, Vanni.

You’ll forever be Blue & White. Andiamo 💙

This is very good and speaks to something beyond games. My favourite part is the (imo correct) notion that uncertainty, particularly as it relates to the future, is a gift!

Als, please play Saltsea Chronicles.
I’m proud of this essay on what it means to worldbuild during an era of Polycrisis. Featuring: Graeber & Wengrow, Solnit, Becky Chambers, The Quiet Year, wholesomeness’ moral bankruptcies, dystopia’s dangers, & creatively unfinished thoughts offered for your delectation.

Been trying to do a little writing to distract myself from other writing. Recently replayed Mirror's Edge and it got me thinking about video game bodies. medium.com/@martin.appa...
