This has been my pinned post on the other place since 2018, so let's migrate it over.
I know I took my (rather large dose of) seroquel tonight, but my body is acting like I didn't. And since the last time I went into withdrawals was A Party®, we're putting on an hour timer of Smooth Jazz and if we feel weird still then it's time for an extra dose

Okay so the plot of this episode is (among other things) that some goa'uld has stolen a GDO and wants to extorr/torture the iris code out of SG-1.
Why do they not have an iris code that just flags as "if someone uses this code than something is extremely wrong and please don't open the iris"?

I used to say it as a joke but, like
Daneal'c is the best ship in this show

This is a series of pictures of batteries that I took because there was a lady in the checkout lane next to the batteries who is making an absurd and over the top complaint, and I wanted to snoop, but I wanted to look like I was doing something

The weird thing about watching Atlantis before sg-1 (and also watching Atlantis more recently than sg-1 sing sg-1 was taken off Hulu) is that I expect all Asgard to be sassy little assholes like Hermiod.

As someone who grew up in a city with train tracks running right through the middle of it, it absolutely stuns me how many people seem to not be aware that an oncoming train cannot stop

Fun Avatar fact: because Sokka and Katara's mom isn't given a, name until mid- season 3, there was a time period where the fans referred to her as "Namokas"

I love that I can finish servicing my roomba, set him down on the floor in the middle of my kitchen, and say "go home, buddy," and he will just go put himself away.

Me, moving a box so that my autonomous vacuum can clean into an area it previously hasn't been able to access: Roomba, this shit over here is gonna blow your motherfucking mind

I think season 5 of sg1 is the first time they address that guns are LOUD.

On the list of most incomprehensible things i say to this day is "it's better to be a bish hanyou than an ugly one"
Like I pretty much don't say it out loud anymore
But I still think it a lot

You know, I get why shows meant for streaming platforms don't run for 200 episodes, but I forgot how enjoyable it is to watch a show that has episodes that aren't very good and add nothing to the overall show.

The first time I watched Stargate, I found the spy episodes (the one where Carter get kidnapped by ninjas, the one where Hammond gets threatened out of his job, etc) boring, but I really enjoy them this time around.
