I have rarely been to a theater since the pandemic (Boy & The Heron, Nosferatu) but liked Frankenstein so much I saw it twice.
If you can, Frankenstein is a great to experience on a big screen front and center, as close to the screen as possible without craning your neck!

Where do I even begin? Guillermo del Toro @realgdt.bsky.social has created an absolute masterpiece. I only wish I’d had the chance to experience it on the big screen. The story of Frankenstein has been told countless times, but never like this.

I'm thinking 1950's term "Artificial Intelligence" was a misnomer, and "Simulated Intelligence" would have been more apt.
e.g. Microsoft Flight Simulator has hyper-realistic controls and can be convincing with VR, but nobody confuses it with remotely flying an airplane or drone: it's a simulation.

I told a doctor once that programmers get put on a PIP (Performance Improvement Plan, i.e. a path to getting fired) if they solve problems the way the medical sector / some doctors do. We actually have to correctly diagnose & understand root causes of problems, replicate them, test a fix against it.

We download a lot of P2P mp3's these days in 2001, anyone know a tool to RAPIDLY and manually edit tags on on individual mp3 files? (or flac for you l337 455 d00ds!) ideally some kind of ncurses thing or dumb Tk wrapper over metaflac (which is itself too brutalist, everything else too big or slow)
