Today we were making cardboard creations. It's a great way to be creative appling a form of visual curriculum just through play. Education in this sense is the application of learning through discovery, freedom & the allowance of evolving an idea instead of a conditioned notion of 'making a mistake'

My task today was to draw the events of a creative meeting at the Abbey theatre, Nuneaton, in the form of speed sketch reportage. I also wrote down key points from what was said at the event. I managed 25 sketches during the course of the day :)

Quick sketch of my partner's father. I'm really enjoying the speed sketching process again. I feel that sketching is about capturing several moments with the stroke of the pencil and allowing some marks not to go the way you prefer. But equally it's satisfying when you find that overall feel.
