South Dakota's governor, Kristi Noem was sworn in this afternoon to be the secretary of homeland security. Her main task as of right now will be “cracking down” on immigration. Unlike her fellow cabinet member Pete Hegseth who barely got approved with a tied vote, Noem was sworn in with a 59-34 vote

Target is ending its DEI policies and goals. Which seems a little out of left field as they have been very vocal for their support of small businesses owned by minorities. They will be joining other big companies such as Walmart with ending these policies.
