I was on a neighborhood reddit page & a redditor asked advice on how to pay their exorbitantly high rent after an astronomical increase bc they didn't have the money to move (or leave the state bc of their job). The most upvoted suggestion was to sell plasma. No one should have to live like this.

This remains one of my favorite photos. I am extremely lucky to have such enduring friendships and that they are so well documented. A bounty of camera snaps showing that we have always been wonderful wild things.
Shoutout to my college-era friends who had to endure a camera up in their faces for all our goofy hijinks in the years before smartphones made it normal
