i think i can share this now: i think i had a post-viral TIA a couple of years ago, when the ER was inaccessible, and just as our apartment air quality became super unsafe w new neighbors.

that's when i couldn't keep up online and drifted away. it has taken this long to be able to articulate it.

I've often said that social media needs 2 things to thrive.

1. NO tolerance of Nazis and their ilk.

2. Full allowance of Porn and other forms of erotica.

Have those two things and you're on your way to success.

a lot of people (YOU! even) need to get on board with 'this is gross to me, but should not be illegal.' like, very vocally. to people who are pearl clutching about The Children. especially if you're like... a normie non-creator

In Chinese folk culture, when two trees grow together, their branches entwining as one, they are called Lianli Trees (连理树)—symbols of eternal love and unbreakable bond. Also known as Xiangsi Trees (相思树), "couple trees," or "life-and-death trees," they represent not only romantic devotion 1/2

has anyone else at chicago-ish latitude been seeing aurora traces for a week?

looking thru binoculars it's been crazymaking bc i need to either focus on stars or those and they're two different ways of seeing that take some effort to shift between

tonight it should be strong, but clouds :/

i hate that i'm hiding from the places that i made for myself to hide, because they remind me too much of the reason i'm hiding.

it's avoiding harm i'm after, so that there's fuel and good in me when it's needed, bc both big and little things are all hard now, and i have so little of either

our kitty has been rather unwell since October or november, going up or down depending on the weather, and we've been very scared and very upset when we see her in pain. today she is getting the works at the vet. information in this case a talisman against fear.

Chinese feng shui is not just about furniture placement.
The ancient concept of Dragon Veins (龍脈) reveals how our ancestors saw entire mountain ranges as living dragons, channeling earth's energy. These sacred pathways were so powerful that disturbing them was strictly forbidden - and 1/2

The deadliest form of ancient Chinese witchcraft wasn't what you think - it was cats.
Cat Ghosts (猫蛊) were more feared than any other supernatural entity in ancient Chinese households, capable of consuming victims from inside out while transferring their wealth to 1/3
