Sometimes my brain lies to me and tells me I haven’t made any progress, but these before and afters reaaaally put things into perspective.
I still have bad self esteem days but I am so proud of the work I’ve put into myself and most importantly I am learning to be kinder to myself each day. 🥰

I use social media to engage with other like minded individuals who share similar interests. It’s a sense of community that not everyone is welcome into 🤷♀️
Blocking hatemongers is one thing but this trend of using mass block lists to avoid hearing from people who might or might not hold points of view you expect to disagree with is unhealthy imo and hurts the platform.
Bluesky was better off with folks like Margaret Mitchell and Giada Pistilli on it.

Told him once I liked having my hair played with. Now I never have to ask. he brushes my hair while we’re sitting on the couch together. he runs his fingers through my hair while we’re watching tv. it’s the little things.

Seeing so many stories of people crying because there might not be SNAP benefits next month breaks my heart.
A lot of parents skipping meals so they can feed their kids. I remember my mom doing the same thing for me.
