Tried to play Trails of Cold Steel this morning on my emulator. I have 3, one of which is on a free trial at the moment and I loved using it for Ys but...it won't load Trails of Cold Steel. So I went over to Parallels and it works but the window is tiny, fine. One PC has a big window but slow. Argh.

Cops were called on a client today and we had to lock the doors to keep him out--too aggressive. He ended up spitting in my bestie's fucking face. A quick search on him, too, reveals his record is...something...and thankfully he didn't have a weapon on him today. People be nasty, I dunno.

So much competitive Splatoon on my timeline lately. I can't imagine being consumed with + results. Was never my thing, which is probably why I was doomed to low level competitive. I just wanted to have fun! Are you guys really having fun? Like at all?

Reading comp Splatoon posts reminds me of when my team won a tourney and the host just put on auto video controls so the good action wasn't even seen by any one. Then the host's team lost to us in another tourney and they yelled at their teammates "this isn't even a good team." So respected.

Valentine's Day is just an excuse to do a very nice homemade meal at home rather than anything particularly grand! This weekend we're trying to make our own red sauce for the first time and then our own ravioli, pasta dough and all. So far, so fun!

Woke up and decided to finish out the boss battles for Ys VI: Ark of Napishtim! That's game 7 of the year, how have I managed 7 so far? lol It helps they're all sort of short... Enjoyed the story of Ys VI but some of the mechanics were...frustrating. Overall, pretty solid! 💜

Couldn't sleep at all, so got up to play some Ys VI around 4am. Nothing like raging at jumping mechanics in the early hours of the morning. Should have it finished this weekend! \o/ Then more work on Dragon Quest VII and maybe some Pokemon putzing, if my interest is revived...

Happy Half-Day Wednesday! Today's "adventures" include a visit with the oral surgeon, hopefully a call from the pain doctor schedule my neck injection...and I've decided to focus on playing some Ys VI before fully diving into Dragon Quest VII! Ya girl does need downtime after all. Plans!

The two games I started to divvy up the tedium of poking around at Pokemon! I don't know which one will end up with more of my focus first, Dragon Quest VII or Ys VI. Ys VI is shorter so I may go with that before leaping fully into Dragon Quest - options!

Rolled credits on Pokemon Z to A. Going to plug a bit more at it, I think, to try to work on the Pokedex, but I'll inevitably get bored and move on from 100%ing the game. It's not a bad game but it's not a great game for me either! The combat still makes me go argh and the grind is not fun to me!
